Costa den Blanes is formed from two completely distinct parts. Costa den Blanes has a residential zone with housing constructed on the ridge of Na Burguesa and another residential zone next to the coast. In Costa den Blanes we must mention Marineland, a very interesting complex with marine and exotic animals.
Costa de la Calma first appeared in the annals of the history of Mallorca when the King of Aragon Pedro IV landed on the shore in the year 1343 before conquering the island and overthrowing Jaime III of Mallorca. Costa de la Calma celebrates its yearly festivities from the 4th to the l5th of August together with the locality known as El Toro.
