Outstanding Features
Camp de Mar is a small touristic centre within the boundaries of the municipality of Andratx, relatively near to Palma de Mallorca. The project of Camp de Mar took place in the nineteen eighties. The Gran Hotel was the first building to be constructed, and many famous people stayed there. The beach of Camp de Mar is a very quiet place.The main attraction of the beach here is a small island joined to the land by a bridge thus making it easily accessible on foot. In this privileged place there is a restaurant for those who may need its services. Es Racó of Camp de Mar also known as the beach of the women in Majorcan 'Ses Dones' can be found at only a few hundred metres away from the beach of Camp de Mar, walking along the stretch to this beach of 'Ses Dones'.
Aquatic Activities
Camp de Mar is a very good place for the practice of all aquatic sports. In the Port of Andratx can be found the Sailing Club of Port of Andratx which is an institution whose aim is to promote the love and interest for sailing and for the sea, without of course forgetting the formation of young people.
Golf Courses
The municipality of Andratx has excellent installations for playing golf in Golf d’Andratx, next to the golf course of Dorint Royal Golf resort Spa Camp de Mar.
