The daily life of an agent

Have you ever wondered what it's like being a real estate agent?

From  Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca Real Estate we want to make ourselves known. The agent's life is possibly not as one imagines.

We can find two major jobs in real estate agents, providing legal and economic advice to potential buyers in order to find the home that best suits their needs and being the one, which is responsible for advising owners looking for buyers and valuing the property at the price that best suits the current market .

Whatever your function is, your day to day will be very complete and you will often be forced to do more than one task at a time. Despite this, agents do not usually do the same every day and this precisely is what makes this job exciting.

The agent must be attentive to all kinds of details, such as the way in which he will present the property to his clients, adjusting the visiting hours between the buyer and the owner, obtaining new properties or expanding his network of contacts.

In the day-to-day life of a real estate agent, visits to properties and dealing with the client occupy 70% of the work. The agent has to find the property which is suitable to the buyer. It is important to be able to adapt oneself to the schedules and occupations of your clients since you are providing them with a service and occasionally you will see yourself working together with them and other agents. The daily functions of an agent can be summarized in being aware of their properties, realizing the ups and downs of the real estate market and maintaining good relations with their clients, the latest being the most important.

In order to have the luxury of choosing who you want to work with, you must first make sure they want to work with you. This is why the prestige of an agent is a fundamental part of his work. In order to achieve success, relationships between other agents and potential clients are very important. Often, the agent must invest a lot of time and dedication in reinforcing these personal relationships with their clients since the purchase of a property is a decision of great personal value and needs a very dedicated assistance.

In short, an agent must be prepared to meet up with a potential client at any time, visit a property often more than once daily, receive calls at any time and always put on a good face. Because good qualities always go from mouth to mouth and one never know where a client can come from.
