Seafood Fest in Palma de Majorca

The great seafood fest gets to Majorca for the fourth time, in order to offer all types of seafood and shellfish directly brought from Galicia. These delicatessens will be of a large variety, different types, sizes and tastes. Octopus, barnacles, lobsters, sea crabs, shrimps, vieiras, shellfish rice, fish pies, etc½

 



 

This gastronomic event travels around Spain every year, visiting different countries and offering the best quality fish. This year it will be in the Poligono de Levanate from the 13^th to the 29^th of June. It will be open from Monday to Sunday from 12.00 to 16.30 and in the afternoon from 19.30 to 23.00. Visitors will find a large dining room able to host 2.500 people where they will be able to taste products brought daily by fish-pool trucks from Galicia, especially know for its extraordinary seafood.

 



 

There will be about six stands, each specialized on a type. Some on fish rice, some on Galician pies, others on liquors and typical wines to accompany the fish, etc...  As if we were actually in Galicia guests will also find a small shop, with recollections from Galicia to remember the day. All of this will be accompanied by the best folkloric music, special shows on Saturday and Friday night, and a unique group of bagpipes to give the place a unique touch. The football lovers will not have to worry as a big screen will be set up for them to watch the matches. What more are you looking for?
