NEW ALLIANCE TO BOOST THE BALEARIC REAL ESTATE MARKET

The Balearic Association of Real Estate Agents (ABINI) together with the Official Association of Real Estate Agents of the Balearic Islands (COAPI Baleares) have established a collaborative agreement. This pact focuses on promoting and professionalizing the real estate sector of the Balearic Islands, seeking to offer a more efficient and higher quality service to citizens. The agreement is based on mutual respect and recognition between the two organizations, underlining their commitment to continuous development and professional ethics in the region.

Shared vision

The presidents of both entities, José Miguel Artieda of COAPI and Hans Lenz of ABINI, have highlighted the importance of this agreement as a complement to several initiatives that have been developed in collaboration in recent months. These actions include joint work with the local Administration, which has culminated in the approval of new legislation. These laws seek to more effectively regulate the profession of real estate agents on the islands, thus guaranteeing a clearer and fair framework for action for all those involved.

Community benefits

The collaboration between ABINI and COAPI Baleares not only focuses on improving current practices, but also points towards a long-term vision that will benefit both professionals in the sector and end users of real estate services. The implementation of this agreement is designed to strengthen the foundations of the real estate sector in the Balearic Islands, promoting greater professionalization and raising service standards. With these steps, both leaders are confident that the alliance will contribute significantly to the quality of life in the community, ensuring more transparent and efficient transactions in the local real estate market.

Opinion of Jorge Forteza, CEO of BHHS Mallorca

Since we founded Abini we have been fighting for the regulation of the sector as our main objective. It has been long and laborious but we have finally achieved mandatory regulation, a very important issue for us to put an end to discredit and intrusion. As a result of this matter, Abini decides to ally itself with the College of Apis, since we consider it to be the oldest association and most faithful to the principles that should govern our profession. “We have worked together for a long time and that effort deserves the reward of an alliance that will undoubtedly make us stronger.
