The first hostel opening in Cabrera
Cabrera is an archipelago situated 10km from the coast of Majorca recognized since 1991 as a national park. It is one of the most visited tourist attractions and has an outstanding sea-floor with turquoise and even transparent waters. More than its ecosystem and ecological value it also provides historical attractions like the castle with views to the port. With previous say you can visit the fortress and even enjoy a guided tour.
Many visitors enjoy its magic every summer, some in private boats and others through group excursions organized by the Centre of Visitors. For these tourists the option of staying overnight was not available as Cabrera did not count on any accommodation. Due to the continuous visits, and the success of this island the Centre has decided to open the first hostel in Cabrera to allow visitors to enjoy the spectacular night sky and even the mid-night swims.
The hostel counts on 12 spacious double rooms with direct views to the bay. It will open on April the 1
st and the rooms will be available the whole summer season (June to September.) The prices will range from 50 to 60 Euros depending on the season.
Cabrera offers various excursions within the island, to visit the castle or to get to see some of the species living on the island, especially birds of all types. Don't miss the opportunity of enjoying an overnight stay in one of the most magical and tranquil islands. A perfect place to relax, free your mind and forget the worries.
