The Christmas spirit tends to activate our most compassionate side and drives us to engage in charitable efforts to better the world in which we live. The whole team of real estate specialists at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca enjoys Christmas, so we decided to use the occasion to carry out a solidarity action with the the Student Association of the Adult Education Centre Son Canals.
As a result, Jorge Forteza Castro, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca, has chosen to gift a total of 20 computers to the Alumni Association of the Son Canals Adult Education Centre (CEPA, in Spanish), which has been part of the Department of Education of the Balearics' network of schools since 1986.
There are students with modest resources among the Son Canals Alumni Association members. They conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca for the generous donation of all IT equipment.
These 20 computers will prove to be effective learning tools, helping students who could not otherwise afford them to continue their studies and complete all the topics covered in the CEPA Son Canals course programme.
The educational programme at the centre is for anyone above 18. Adult secondary education, university admission test preparation, language lessons, computer training, and even theatrical classes are all part of it.
We wanted to use this wonderful time of year at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nova Mallorca to help those in need. We hope that the Christmas spirit will motivate many more people to take part in different actions of solidarity that will add to the magic of this festive season.
