Christmas markets bring light to the city of Palma
Christmas markets in Palma.
Due to the proximity of the
Christmas celebration, Palma is already beginning to create the Christmassy atmosphere that we all love! It's not only the lights, the decorations and the happiness of the people but also the stalls and markets the town hall has and will set up during December and the beginning of January.
As in previous years these will include stalls offering a great variety of products, most hand made and unique. These will include Christmas objects such as tree decorations, pieces to set up the nativity scene, lighting, all sorts of snacks and other special surprises. The traditional stalls will not disappear, and visitors will still be able to buy arts and crafts, clothes, complements, toys, etc½
The different markets will be set up in: P
laça de Espanya (a market offering complements like scarves, shawls, bags and other exclusive pieces),
La Rambla and Vía Roma (providing various stalls of crafts work) and
Plaça Major ( the biggest market full of secrets and Christmas bits and pieces.)
These fairs will be on from the 26
th of December to the 6
th of January and are the beginning of a great list of activities and events ready for the Christmas celebrations. This year the major and the locals of Palma want to make the most of the celebration and especially make sure that everyone is able to participate and enjoy because that's what Christmas is all about!
