CCA Andratx Art and Wine fair

This year the CCA Andratx, one of the biggest and most prestigious art centres in Majorca, will be presenting the first edition of the CCA Andratx Art and Wine fair. A wonderful event for visitors to get to taste the best wine and enjoy the most outstanding art pieces. It will take place on the 11^th and 12^th of October and it will be on at the CCA patio from 11am to 5pm.



At the fair 11 bodegas will present their best wines, each different and unique, and will also offer information about the properties and the making of each one. Visitors will be able to taste them and buy them if they wish. Martin Ward from Wine Educators International will tutor three wine tasting sessions, each of 30 minutes to show guests how to distinguish and understand wine in a fun and enjoyable way. Adding on, Silvia Anglada will set up her own stand offering the best pinchos from her restaurant Tast de na Silvia. With so much wine some food is always welcome!

As the name indicates Art will also be present during the fair. The CCA will be hosting the following exhibitions: "There Is No Such Place As Away" that consists of "The Maldives Exodus Caravan Show", "Growing Vegetables On A Coral Island - Hibalhidhoo" and "Before The Avalanche". The CCA Gallery holds the "Homage to Dennis Oppenheim" and "Mallorca II", and at CCA Espai you will see "Obras Recientes" by Amador Coll Verger. There will be different prices depending on the activities you wish to participate in. 12 euros includes 3 wine tastings and a guided visit to CCA, the tutored sessions will be 5 euros and the pinchos 3 euros.
