Café del Mar now in Majorca

We have all heard of the famous Ibiza Café, also present in Santo Domingo and in Singapore, where one can enjoy the best views of the sun-rise in the world. Some say it is a magical place that is hard to find anywhere else. The great feeling it transmits has made Melia Hotels International make the decision of signing an agreement and opening the first Café del Mar in Majorca!

The new café will be open next to the hotel WaveHouse Majorca with direct view to the beach of Magaluf. It will open on the 18^th of April and the official inauguration will be at the beginning of May. The café will function as a beach club up to 18.00 hours every day, providing beach parties, pool parties, and the best Asian cuisine. From 18.00 hours it will open as a lounge bar changing its approach and offering chill out music and a great and unique surprise; the live projection of the sun-rise in Ibiza on a gigantic big screen. Therefore the clients will fell as if they were actually in Ibiza, watching the sun-rise.

 



 

Apart from the Café del Mar the great terrace of the WaveHouse will be offering a wide range of options like its new burger "Surf Shack" (American style), a great variety of juices and smoothies, and the new "Mumm Champagne" bar that will offer an exquisite combination of Asian food and the best champagnes.

These new surprises are contributing to the project Calvia Beach which hopes to maximize the quality of the popular destination Magluf and hopes to transform it into an area of exclusive beach clubs, hotels, restaurants and clubs½ A different approach as to what it has been in the past few years.
