Bradley Wiggins and Chris Horner begin their training in Mallorca

As many other cyclists Bradley Wiggins (champion of the Tour 2012) and Chris Horner (winner of the Round of Spain 2013) both choose Majorca as the ideal place to train for this year's Tour de France and all the other races.

Bradley states that the tension between them is now gone, in The Independant Bradley said, "Me and Chris talked a lot here in December and it was the first time we had been able to do that properly since the Tour of Oman last February, I feel very positive about our relationship and I'm looking forward to racing with him."

Majorca is a great site to train for the season as it offers some of the most winding roads and the toughest hills, perfect training for these two leaders. None of them will be participating in the Trofeo de Palma, a circuit of 116km that runs through the coast of the Paseo Maritimo. However, it is expected that Bradley takes part in the Iberostar Challenge. This challenge consists of a series of races divided into four days running from Palma to Campos and over to the Tramuntana. The challenge days will run from the 9th to the 12th of February. Some of the best cyclists will be accompanying Bradley.

The world champion Riu Costa has already landed in Majorca ready to participate in the cyclist challenge. Costa has just arrived from the Tour of Dubai and is expected to take part in the Serra de Tramuntana-Deiá-Lluc trophy and the Muro-Port D'Alcudia, trophy.
