Some beaches are not only for you... but also for your four legged friends.

We spend all our summer enjoying the best beaches of Majorca and the best fresh and clean waters. However we have to leave our fluffy four legged friends at home, or find someone to take care of them whilst we go have fun. This does not need to happen anymore. For some people taking their pets with them is like taking any other friend; a way to feel accompanied and now Majorca offers the possibility of taking your pets to some of the beaches of the island. This way they can also enjoy the pleasures of our paradise and you don't have to leave them at home.

Most of the beaches allow dogs only in the out of season, from the 1^st of November to the 31^st of March. Currently four beaches in Majorca allow dogs during the hot summer season. These beaches are "Playa del Carnatge" where the dogs can swim from Peñon up to Puro Beach and can even enjoy a small water bowl whilst their owners have a drink at the beach bar. The second area that is pet-friendly is the whole municipality of Artà. Here dogs can access the 14 beaches of the area. The third beach is Llenaire in the port of Polleça and the latest beach to have become pet-friendly is Cala Blanca in Andratx. Every year more and more beaches are accepting our fluffy friends into their waters, and are making them and their owners happier than ever so if you have a dog and you don't want to leave it at home½.
