April Fair of Palma 2013

The Palma Town Hall council meeting approved the conditions for the annual 'Feria de Abril' of 2013. Said fair will take place from 26th April to 5th May in the industrial estate of Son Rossinyol.

'Pescaito' (typical small fish), fino (dry sherry), 'sevillanas' dancing, music and singing until the early hours of the morning.

This year, the festival will have a limited entrance of 13,200 people for security reasons which will be constantly controlled by security guards. A stricter security plan has been devised with more emergency exits to avoid any events such as those of Madrid Arena, according to spokesman Julio Martinez (PP).

At weekends and the eve of public holidays, the fair will be open until 5 o'clock in the morning, although the music will finish at 4.30. All the other days the fair will close its doors at 2 o'clock.
