An opportunity to visit the Palma Airport facilities

For the first time, the Airport of Palma de Majorca opens its doors to the public offering a tour around the facilities the airport can offer.

For this reason the airport has prepared two rounds. The first one will explore the aircraft parking platforms, visiting one of the firemen parks, the runway, the takeoff and landing of aircrafts, the general aviation platform and other different activities and zones depending on the day.




 
The second round is characterized for being more technical. This group will visit the Coordination Centre of the airport and the power plant. The visitors can plan to visit one part of the airport or both. The tours will be open from the 2^nd to the 6^th of June Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10.00 to 12.00 hours and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 17.00 to 19.00 hours. The groups will be of approximately 50 visitors, and a specialist in charge of informing and answering any questions.


This a great opportunity for children, adults and the lovers of aircrafts that have always wondered what goes on "behind the scenes." They will be able to learn and at the same time enjoy the hidden treasures an airport and its workers hide. You will be surprised at how many jobs and things go on at the airport and you will never look at it the same again!
